Jacquelyn Lea Joyner Langley, 69, passed away Friday, October 1, 2021. She was born September 1, 1952 in Nash County to the late William and Jacquelyn Yates Joyner. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Benjamin J. Langley III.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years Benjamin J. Langley, Jr.; two daughters Holly Kea Blythe (Michael) and Ashley Rebecca Langley; brother William "Jay" Joyner; five sisters Ellen Joyner Taylor, Janice Joyner Lewis, Paula Joyner, Ann Joyner Payne (Carl) and Chris August; two grandchildren.

A memorial service was held October 3, 2021 at Rise Church, Rocky Mount.
