NASHVILLE-Lois Sykes Chappell, 90, of the Corinth Community of Nashville died on August 12, 2006. She was born to Queenie May King Sykes and Thomas Wilson Sykes on May 26, 1916.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Chester Milton Chappell, and her children James milton, Thomas Chester and Zara Nell.

Survivors include 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; many nieces and nephews, godchildren grand nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at 1 a.m. at Corinth Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Coggin officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Nashville.

Flowers are accepted or memorials to be made to Corinth Baptist Church, 2883 N. NC 58 Hwy, Nashville, NC 27856.
