Johnnie Wilson O'Conney passed away September 10, 2021. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Johnnie and Martha Harrell O'Conney; his brother, Otis O'Conney; sisters, Edna Earl Hayes and Tom Edmondson; and step-son, Steve Rooks.

He is survived by his wife Catherine S. O'Conney; sons, Alton Ray O'Conney, Wayne O'Conney (Loriann); step-sons, Robert Hayes, Michael Rooks and Ernie Willis; daughter, Elaine O'Conney; step-daughters, Carolyn Allsbrook, Teresa Rooks Peaden (Michael), and Diane Stanley; brothers, William O'Conney (Kim) and Charles O'Conney (Phyllis); sister, Fannie Mae Edwards; five grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Dottie O'Conney.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. at Northside Baptist Church on Saturday, September 18, 2021. Visitation with family and friends will be from 10 - 11 a.m. prior to the service.
