BAILEY - Catherine Bailey, age 80, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 1 p.m. at St. Mary Churchof Christ, Disciples of Christ, Bailey. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3-7 p.m. at William Toney's Funeral Home in Spring Hope.

She is survived by five children, Helen Jean Woodard of Rocky Mount, Trustee Clarence Barnes and Toney Bailey of Bailey, Minister Mildred Brown-Farmer of the home and Deacon Derrick Lucas of Bunn; 17 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nora Lee Woodard of Spring Hope and Edith Woodard of Zebulon; brother, Jimmie Woodard of Bailey; one uncle; extended daughters, Cynthia Coppage of Bailey and Delois Person of Middlesex.
