NASHVILLE - Harry Lee Carpenter, Sr, 77, passed away on Thursday, August 26 2021. He was born in Nash County on April, 7, 1944. He was the son of the late Otis Lee Carpenter and Dorothy Bessie Carpenter.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dell Poland Carpenter; his chidren, Lynne Spencer (Gene) of Middlesex, Angie Carpenter of Spring Hope, Lee Carpenter (Sherry) of Nashville and Mark Carpenter (Lisa) of Elm City; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.

Visitation with family and friends will be Wednesday, September 1, 2021 from 1 -1:45 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home with a funeral service to be held at 2 p.m. in the Chapel. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
