CASTALIA - Bernice Sills Britt, age 95, passed away Friday, August 6, 2021.

Bernice Sills Britt was born on June 4, 1926, to the late James Ernest and Effie Davis Sills in Castalia.

In addition to her parents, Bernice was predeceased by siblings Marian, Hubert, Doreatha, Marvin, Ruth, Blanche and Earnest.

She is survived by her son, Anthony (Tony) Brown and his wife, Betty; stepson Nathaniel Britt and his wife Melody; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Pawnee Sills and many nieces, nephews, cousins.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Spring Hope Memorial Gardens in Spring Hope. Visitation will be held on Sunday August 15, from 2-6 pm at William Toney's Funeral Home, Spring Hope.
