Larry Steve Rose, 72, passed away Friday, August 6, 2021. He was born May 4, 1949 to the late James and Gladys Marie Rose. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Bonnie Rose, Marie Johnson and Diane Rose; brother, David Rose; mother-in-law, Louise Pittman; brother-in-law, Danny Boy Pittman; and sister-in-law, Kathy Pittman.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lois Pittman Rose; sons, David Steven Rose and Jamie Phillip-Daniel Rose; daughters, Joanna Rose and Lisa Schriber; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brothers, Jimmy, Roy, and Bobby Rose; sisters, Peggy Bottoms (Johnnie) and Erma Bottoms (Jessie).

The funeral service will be on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. An entombment will take place at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
