Lester "Jake" Farmer passed away on August 6, 2021. He was born on October 9, 1929 to William L. and Bessie M. Farmer. Jake was preceded in death by his parents, son, Michael Lloyd Farmer and 9 siblings.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Ethel Farmer; sons, David Farmer and Steve Farmer (Jackie), brother Albert Farmer, sisters Virginia Burgess, Margie Calhoun, Brenda Banks and Frances Greene; five grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at Sharpsburg Community Church on Tuesday, August 10 at 11 a.m.
