Mannis Lee Evans, 69, passed away August 1, 2021. He was born September 23, 1951 to the late Mannis H. Evans and Hazel Lynch Evans. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Quincy, Nathaniel, and Rogers.

He is survived by his son Sharoy L. Evans; daughter, Shawana McCall (Eric); five grandchildren; brother, Welton Evans (Mary); sisters Juanita Richardson, Yvonne Richardson, Willie Mae Richardson, Glenda Silver, and Prenesia Anstead.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Hollister. A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 4, 2021 6 - 8 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home in Nashville
