Michael Thomas Smith, 78, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021. He was born in Miami, FL April 8, 1943 to the late John Fulton and Bernice Freeman Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by step-daughter, Melissa Petteway and step-father, Rex Bennett.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia; sons Shawn Freeman Smith (Hyla), Aaron Smith, Colin Patrick Smith; daughters Cheramie Deadwyler (Hal), Brittany Scott (Chris); step daughters Amy Wood (David), Dawn Kestner (Danny); 15 grandchildren; five great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday, August 1, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. A funeral service will be held Monday, August 2, 2021 at 11 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
