BATTLEBORO - Grace Eason Sumner, age 91, passed away July 25, 2021. Born in Greene County on March 10, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Kirby Lee Eason and Sallie Meadows Eason. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Victor Rowe Sumner; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; and her son-in-law, Ronald W. Ray.

Grace is survived by her daughters, Elaine Sumner Ray of Wendell and Dinah Sumner Davenport (Ray) of Battleboro; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her sister, Sue Eason Kirkland (Bruce); her brothers, William Lee Eason (Eunice), Toby Earl Eason (Gail), and Kirby Sandy Eason; ; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A service was held Saturday, July 31, 2021.
