NASHVILLE - Carrie Alston, age 83, passed away Friday, July 30, 2021.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Bunn Chapel Baptist Church in Nashville. Burial will follow in Alston Family Cemetery in Nashville. Visitation will be held on Monday from 3-7 p.m. at William Toney's Funeral Home in Spring Hope.

She is survived by her children, Peggy Tabron (Donnie), Ollie Alston, Jr. and Carl Alston, Sr. (Theresa) all of Nashville, Janet Macon of Spring Hope, Lisa Beatrice Ross (Cliff) of Fuquay Varina, Willie Alston (Shante) of Madison Heights, VA and Carol Alston of Spring Hope; her siblings, Ethel Burt of Nashville, Emma Alston of Rocky Mount, Frances Tabron, Luther, Bryant, Jr. of Nashville, Richard Bryant of Castalia, William Bryant (Dottie) and Lewis Bryant (Veronica) of Rocky Mount and Walter Bryant of Nashville; 18 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
