NASHVILLE – Varina M. Harris, 58 passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2008. She was born in Vance County February 24, 1950 to the late John Moss and Valista Manning Moss.

Varina is survived by her husband, Willie S. Harris, Jr. of the home; daughters, Michelle and husband Steven Rau of Bunn, Stephanie and Michael Ash of PA; 4 grandchildren and a special aunt, Ewilda Brantley.

A funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 5, 2008 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home. Burial followed at Duke Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends Saturday evening, October 4, 2008 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the home.
