NASHVILLE - Earl Lee Cary, 79, passed away May 18, 2021. He was born on February 7, 1942 in Nash County. He was the son of late William Cary and Marie Virginia Ayers. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Janice Lou Talley and Annette Glover; brother Randolph Cary.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years Carolyn P. Cary; children Chris Cary (Catina) and Sherry Phillips (George); three grandchildren; three brothers Billy, Joe (Rene), and Bobby Cary (Faye) all of Rocky Mount.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 21, 2021 from 1:00-1:45 p.m. with funeral service at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cornerstone Funeral Home for final expenses or to the family.
