Larry Warren Newberry, Jr., 45, passed away May 12, 2021. He was born April 5, 1976 in Nash County. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ellis & Elizabeth Spruill Newberry; maternal grandparents, James & Ruth Morgan Wooten; uncle, James A. Wooten, Jr., Aunt Betty L. Newberry.

Warren is survived by his parents, Larry Warren Newberry, Sr. and June Wooten Newberry; uncles; an aunt; and several cousins.

A private graveside service will be held at Edgecombe Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ECU Medical and Health Sciences Foundation, 2200 S. Charles Blvd Greenville, NC 27834-4353, memo to the Larry Warren Newberry Family Nursing Scholarship Endowment.
