k Walker, age 86, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021. Born in Nash County on February 2, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Herman Audrey Vick and Eva Mae Carroll Vick. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Nebson Walker, Sr.

She is survived by her sons, Brian "Keith" Walker and wife, Sharon, of Tyrone, GA and James "Jimmie" Nebson Walker, Jr. and wife, Julie, of Sharpsburg; her daughter, Anise Walker Coggin and husband, Rev. Mike Coggin, of Nashville; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her brothers-in-law, Dr. Richard Walker and wife Lynne, Bruce Walker and wife Shirley, and Glenn Walker and wife Janice.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. A visitation with the family will follow the service at the graveside.
