Lucius Cleveland Evans, 92, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. He was born in Nash County on April 30, 1928, to Ira Thomas and Roberta Crickmore Evans. In addition to his parents and siblings, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Cooper Evans.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, April 30, 2021, at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at Forest Hill Cemetery, Lot 309 in section I.
