ENFIELD - J.P. Manley, 79, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2008. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Oct.1 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survivors: wife, Annie Mae Manley of the home; daughter, Mollie Johnson of Hollister; three sons, James Manley of Hollister, Herman Manley of Enfield, and Johnny Manley of Nashville; four brothers, Randolph Manley, Sidney Manley, Luther Manley, and Edgar Manley all of Enfield; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Wake services were held at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville on Tuesday, September 30 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
