NASHVILLE - Bruce Durwood Williams passed away Friday, March 26, 2021. He was born on June 12, 1940 in Rocky Mount to the late Frank and Margaret Williams.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ann; his sister, Carolyn Ruffin of Rocky Mount; his daughters, Mandy Williams of Sanger, Texas and Teresa Williams of Nashville; two grandchildren; former daughter-in-law, Amy Williams; and two great-grandchildren.

Due to Covid, a later memorial service will be announced. Visitors are welcome at the home of Ann Williams, 1300 Birchwood Drive, Nashville. In lieu of flowers, at Durwood's request, please consider donations be made to his great-granddaughters at "Sophie and Hailee Fund" at 1300 Birchwood Drive, Nashville, NC 27856.
