MIDDLESEX - James "Jim" Manning, 85, died Thursday, January 21, 2021.

Funeral services were held Sunday, January 24 at Bailey Cemetery.

Surviving is his daughter, Kim Manning of Raleigh; sons, Brett Bissette (Angela) of Wilson and Dale Bissette (Kathy) of Phoenix, AZ; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Ray Manning of Middlesex and Howard Manning (Sarah) of Bailey.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pennettie Wiggs Manning; his parents, Leslie and Nora Bissette Manning.
