Danny Ray Whitley, 60, passed away Friday, January 8, 2021. He was born January 10, 1960 in Nash County to the late Billy and Catherine Langley Whitley.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years Phyllis Whitley; step-son Scott Joyner; step-daughter Christy Kelly (James); brother Billy Whitley (Terry); sister Lynn Jackson (Robert); two grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, January 10, 2021 from 4:00-5:30 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Monday, January 11, 2020, 2 p.m. at Wells Family Cemetery.
