ROCKY MOUNT - Alma Jones Woolard Oglesby, age 87, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021. Born in Darlington County, SC on September 5, 1933, she was the daughter of the late James Sanford Jones and Annie Brewington Jones. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Clarence Jones; her sister, Shirley Ann Earlin; and the late Daniel Oglesby;

She is survived by her sons, James T. Woolard and wife, Debbie, of Rocky Mount, William A. Woolard and wife, Donna, of Rocky Mount, Michael D. Woolard and wife, Sherry, of Sunset Beach, Stephen C. Woolard and wife, Denise, of Rocky Mount; her daughters, Tammy Oglesby of High Point, Tracy Pridgen, and husband, Steve, of Rocky Mount; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her brother-in-law, Larry Earlin of Charleston, SC; and several nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at Rocky Mount Memorial Park Chapel of Memories Mausoleum.

Entombment will follow the service at Rocky Mount Memorial Park Chapel of Memories Mausoleum.
