ROCKY MOUNT - Peggy Griffin Pullen Porter, age 88, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021. Born in Nash County on February 17, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Henry Lee Griffin and Mary Allice Reid Griffin of Rocky Mount. She was also preceded in death by her first husband of 53 years, Charles Pullen; and her second husband of six years, Oscar Porter.

She is survived by her sister, Elva Griffin Hux; her two daughters, Cathryn "Cathy" Berry and husband, Mike, of Rocky Mount and Renee Neiner and husband, Mike, of Suwanee, GA; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

Burial, Pineview Cemetery.
