ROCKY MOUNT - Claudette Caroline Barnes, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. Born in Somerset, NJ on June 21, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Eleanor Webb Drake. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Mel Ondrus; her sisters, Eleanor Huntley and Thelma MacGregor; and her brothers, George and Fran.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Ralph Thomas Barnes of Rocky Mount; her daughters, Jennifer Bealer and husband, Kevin, of Boyertown, PA, Karen Parker and husband, Daniel of King, and Diane Ringer and husband, Mike of Salisbury, MD; her son-in-law, Martin Ondrus of Jupiter, FL; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her sisters, Gail Schmidt and husband, Christopher, of Nashville and Hazel Moody of West VA; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Rev. Carlton Cockrell officiating.
