WILSON - William E. "Bill" Smith, 87, died Saturday, December 5, 2020. Funeral service is Thursday, 2:00 PM at Evergreen Memorial Park.

He is survived by his wife Jane Reid Smith; daughters, Dana Flye (Pete) and Kathy Wrenn (Keith) of Roxboro and Susan Brumfield (Steve) of Stantonsburg; sons, Bill Smith (Rose) of Charles City, VA and Stephen Glover (Denise) of Elm City; one niece; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Lincoln Smith of Goldsboro and Leatha Edgerton Howell of Kinston; sister, Jennie Smith Lassiter and brother-in-law, Melvin Lassiter, of Kinston; nephew, Michael Lassiter of Kinston.
