WILSON - Lois Joyner Taylor, 80, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2020. Born in Nash County she was the daughter of the late Charlie Dawes Joyner and Della Mae Lindsey Joyner. She was also predeceased in death by her husband of 51 years, George "Pops" Eddie Gorham Taylor; her sisters, Thelma, Senora, Ora, Odessa, Christine and Louise; her brothers, Oliver (Cub), Carl Lee and Junior.

Lois is survived by her son, Eddie Wayne Taylor and his wife, Stacey, of Rocky Mount; her daughter, Kimberly Taylor Brayboy and her husband, Alan, of Wilson; four grandchildren; sister, Effie Cooley and her husband, Tom, of Rocky Mount; her brother, Milton Joyner of Rocky Mount; sister-in-law, Peggy Taylor Everette and her husband, Will, of Spring Hope, sister-in-law, Liz Taylor of Sharpsburg; brother-in-law, Roger Taylor and his wife, Gaile of Rocky Mount.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Rocky Mount Memorial Park Chapel on the Hill Mausoleum. A visitation with the family will follow the service in the Chapel.
