Bennie Roscoe Harrell, 74, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2020. He was born on June 5, 1946 in Nash County to the late Johnnie Roscoe and Betsy Jackson Harrell.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Grover Harrell, Tommy Harrell, Marvin "Sonny" Harrell; sisters Lula Mae Griffin Tharrington, Irene Casto and Neta Lee Harrell.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carol Batchelor Harrell; son Brent Harrell; daughters Tammy Harrell Peele (Ashley), Tonya Harrell Price (Chris); five grandchildren; sisters Helen "Doddlebug" Raynor, Christine Peace (Doug) and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Cornerstone Funeral Home from 6 - 8 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 outside at Dortches Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Barton and Rev. Richie Honeycutt officiating.
