ROCKY MOUNT - Gloria Plummer Gurganus, 89, passed away on Sunday, November 15, 2020. Born in Monmouth County, NJ on October 4, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Marshall Plummer and Eva Crockford Plummer of New Jersey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Lenwood Gurganus.

She is survived by her daughter, Sonya Gurganus Bowen of Rocky Mount; her son, Jack Lenwood Gurganus, Jr. and wife, Terri, of Rocky Mount; four grandchildren,; two great-grandchildren; and one nephew.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Pineview Cemetery with Rev. Matt Seaton officiating. A visitation with the family will follow the service at the graveside.
