HOLLISTER - Ernest “Big Ernest” Richardson, 72, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2008. Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Thomas Richardson officiating. Burial followed in the Richardson family cemetery.

Survivors include: wife, Luetoria L. Richardson, of the home; daughters, Lutoria Richardson and Hazel Shearin, both of Enfield; and Gracie Coley, of Hollister; sons, Ernest Junior Richardson, of Enfield, Jene A. Richardson, of Hollister, and Kelly Richardson, of Roanoke Rapids; sisters, Mabel Richardson, Marjorie Richardson, Lucy Mae Harvey, and Eula Mae Harvey, all of Hollister, and Louise Spruill and Cleo Silver, both of Enfield, and Patricia Baines, of Bailey; also 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Wake services were held on Friday, September 5, 2008 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville
