George T. Moore, age 79, passed away October 25th 2020.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert L and Clara Rice Moore; sisters, Emma Hutzler, Joyce Evans, and Kaye Strickland; and brothers, Ronald Moore and Donald Moore.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Marie Lewis Moore; children Teri Wray (Ed) of Wake Forest, Michael W. Watkins (Myra) of Krakow, Poland, and Tammie Watkins Joyner of Rocky Mount; siblings, Annette Buchan (Tucker) of Hericho and Faye Booth of Nashville; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; many nieces, nephews.

Service will be Thursday, October 29th at Southside Baptist Church. Visitation will be in the lobby at 12 p.m., service in the worship center at 1 p.m. followed by interment at 2:30 p.m. at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to Southside Baptist Building Fund or Hospice at Nash General/UNC Healthcare.
