RED OAK - Linda Evans Braswell, age 81, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020. She was born in Nash County on October 11, 1938 to the late Paul Evans and Nancy Harper Evans. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dana Elsworth Braswell, Jr.

She is survived by her children, Faye Braswell Smith and husband, Marlin, of Red Oak, Danese Braswell Stapleford and husband, Sam, of Nashville, Paulette Braswell Langley and husband Levell, of Red Oak; three grandchildren; her sister, Barbara Waggoner and husband, Roland; and a nephew.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Red Oak Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Chris Fowler officiating. A visitation with the family will follow the service at the graveside.
