Doris Cherry Daughtridge, 94, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020. She was born July 23, 1926 in Edgecombe County to the late Mack and Lessie Brown Cherry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Julian Ray Daughtridge, Sr. and son Julian Ray Daughtridge, Jr.; brothers Runt and Mack Cherry.

She is survived by her daughters Barbara Garner and Mary Jane Jacobson; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A private family memorial service will be held September 26, 2020 at the home of her daughter, Barbara Garner.
