NASHVILLE - Raymond S. Batchelor, 88, passed away August 28, 2020. He was born on October 18, 1931 in Rocky Mount.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Griffin Batchelor and his wife of 63 years, Mary Etta Batchelor.

He is survived by his sister, Linda Batchelor Betts (Richard), three sons; Terry, Sam (Rhonda) and Mark (Tiffany), six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Monday, August 31, 2020 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Luke Whitehead officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Nashville United Methodist Church or 3 HC of Wilson.
