MIDDLESEX - William Elmo "Pete" Cone, age 82, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020.

Visitation will be Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Samaria Baptist Church from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. with the funeral service following at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Tyler Cone officiating. Interment will follow in Bailey Town Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Joyner Cone; daughter, Amy Cone Bryant (David) of Middlesex; son, Keith Cone (Sandra) of Middlesex; sisters, Nona Spencer of Butner, and Sarah Bonneau of Durham; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
