Dolphus Ray Sanders, 76, passed away Friday, July 17, 2020. He was born October 12, 1943 in Durham County to the late Shelton Guy and Doney Murray Sanders.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Allie Mae Denton Sanders; son, Curtis Sanders; daughters Cindy Corbett (Buddy), Teresa Sanders; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

A funeral service will be held Monday, July 20, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Pastor Levi Cummings officiating. Burial will follow at Sanders home place in Spring Hope.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
