Louisburg - Funeral services for Sophia Livingston Brodie, age 90, who died on Sunday, July 5, 2020, will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at 11 a.m. from the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg with Bishop Michael Alston, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Greater Ransom Way of the Cross Cemetery.

She is survived by two daughters, Gwendolyn Brodie and Eunice Gant, both of Rocky Mount; two sons, Ernest Brodie of Castalia, Wilton Brodie of Louisburg; four sisters, Pauline Clifton of Paterson, NJ, Ailean Bryant of Bunn, Justine Lifsey of Newport News, VA, Pearline Kelly (Freddie) of Rolesville; one brother George Livingston (Teresa) of Louisburg; eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday morning from 10 - 11 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home.
