NASHVILLE - Lacey "Jerrie" Journine Rowe, age 91, died on Sunday, June 28, 2020. She was born November 29, 1928 in Burgaw, NC, Pender County. Jerrie was the oldest child and only daughter of the late Lacey Rankin and Louise Blanchard Applewhite in Currie, NC, Pender County. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Andy Clayton Rowe, Sr.; a son, Andy Clayton Rowe, Jr.; brothers, Lacey Rankin Applewhite, Jr. and Carl Jackson Applewhite.

She is survived daughters, Josie Rowe Warren and husband, JC, of Raleigh and Gina Rowe Morris and husband, Tony, of Rocky Mount; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, William James "Bo" Applewhite and wife, Jewel, of Asheboro and Wayne Blanchard Applewhite and wife Nancy, of Atkinson; daughter-in-law, Billie Hammond Rowe of Wilkesboro.

Services will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 4 p.m. at Rocky Mount Memorial Park Chapel on the Hill Mausoleum with Rev. Kenny Byrd officiating. Entombment will follow the service.
