SPRING HOPE - Barbara Ann Newton Hinton, age 85 passed away Monday June 22, 2020.

She was born in Vance County on July 1, 1934 to the late George Haley Newton and Mary Ella Twisdale Newton. She was preceded in death by husband, John Marvin Hinton, Jr.; daughter, Tulia Hinton Neal, four brothers and one sister.

She is survived by her daughters, Christy Wilder (John), Ann Brantley (David), Beth Pace (Chris); son, John Marvin Hinton, Jr; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter

A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Free Union Baptist Church in Spring Hope, NC.
