NASHVILLE - Fred Rogers Jr., 89, passed away on August 18, 2008. Funeral service was Saturday, August 23 at 2:30 p.m. at Union Hill Baptist Church, Nashville. Burial was in the Rogers Family Cemetery, Nashville.

Survivors include daughters, Mildred Wright, of Washington, D.C., and Yvonne Rogers, of Newark, NJ; sons, Fred D. Rogers, of Nashville and Walter Rogers, of Spring Hope; sister, Orene Brown, of Rocky Mount; 11 grandchildren.
