Wilma Shearon Hawkins, 77, died June 11, 2020.

She was born March 14, 1943 to William Allen Shearon and Pella Mae Sanders Shearon.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, John E. Hawkins, Jr. and son, Robert A. Hawkins (Sherry); daughter, Jennifer Hawkins Joyner (Charles); four grandchildren; sister Sandra Shearon Hardy (Harvey).

Services were held Monday, June 15, at Sunset Avenue Baptist Church, Rocky Mount. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
