Wilbur Adam Bowden, 71, passed away Friday, June 5, 2020. He was born January 9, 1949 in Nash County to the late Joseph Benjamin and Ella Edwards Bowden. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Ashley and Opie Bowden; sister Evelyn Medford.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years Connie Bowden; two sons Dwayne Bowden, Rusty Bowden and wife Teresa; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services were held Monday, June 8, 2020 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Moss officiating. Burial was at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
