Minnie Vernelle Strickland Dickerson, 88, of Raleigh passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020. A native of Nash County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Minnie Strickland.

She is survived by daughters, Angela (Tommy) Stephenson of Willow Springs, Lisa (Steve) Pate of Apex; three grandchildren; sisters, Lula Bell Strum of Spruce Pine, Shirley (West) Forehand of Wake Forest; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Ernest Clyde Dickerson, a brother Charlie Strickland and a sister Lillie Barnes.
