NASHVILLE - Hubert H. Hyde, age 95, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2020.

Hubert was born in Tifton, Ga. on January 13, 1925 to the late Charlie R. and Maggie Thomas Hyde. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Lucille Rooks Hyde; son, Hubert H. Hyde, Jr.; brothers, Charlie Jr., James and Wilbur Hyde; sisters, Leola Joyner and Dorothene Rackley.

He is survived by his son, Charlie R. Hyde and wife Martha F. Hyde of Red Oak; daughter-in-law, Sybil Hyde of Waycross, Ga.; three grandchildren; sisters, Helen Davis, Weedie Hayes, and Faye Farmer and husband, Pete; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
