RALEIGH - Bobby Ross Jones, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. He was born July 12,1934 in Nashville to LeRoy and Rella (Strickland) Jones.

In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine C. Jones.

He is survived by his son, Bobby Dwight Jones and his wife, Pam of Raleigh; siblings, Mildred Guy of Fayetteville, Rachel Carpenter of Nashville, and Robbie Jones and his wife, Lynn of Wake Forest; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Forest Hills Cemetery, Nashville.
