Aaron Denton, 93, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2020. He was born July 9, 1926 in Nash County to the late William Thaddeus and Casandra Perry Denton. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Bob Denton; brothers and sisters, Webb, Solomon, John, Daisy, James, Beulah, Nellie, William, Moses and C.W.

He is survived by his wife Lesbia Denton; sons Robert Lee (Maggie), Thomas Jackson (Meredith), Aaron J. (Dia), and Buck Denton; daughters Virginia Denton, Georgia Denton Warren (Steve), Tennessee Denton Waters (Robert), and Alabama Denton; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, May 14, 2020 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home of Nashville. Burial will be private.
