WHITAKERS - Graveside services for A. Thomas Anistead, age 67, who died on Tuesday, April 21, 2020, will be held on Friday, April 24, 2020 at 2 p.m. from the Pleasure Hill Church Cemetery in Whitakers with Rev. Michael Matherly officiating.

He is survived by one daughter, Kandice Avent (Percy); and one son, Derrick Anistead (Phyllis), both of Rocky Mount; his mother, Lula Bell Anistead; five sisters, Geraldine Martin, Ethel Coley, Jeanette Bryant, Beulah Bobbitt and Gloria Williams (John), all of Whitakers; one brother, Amos Anistead of Rocky Mount; and six grandchildren.

Viewing will be from 1 - 2 p.m. at Pleasure Hill Church Cemetery in Whitakers.
