Annie Gertrude Tisdale, age 102, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2020. Born in Nash County on June 24, 1917, she was the daughter of the late William Arthur and Maggie Lee Wilcox King. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Frank Tisdale; and daughter, Shirley Daughtridge.

She is survived by her children, Frank Tisdale (Ann), Robert Tisdale (Joyce) and Peggy Tisdale Barnes (Jerry); four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sisters, Louise Leitch and Rose Leigh Harris.

The family will hold a private service.
