Nash County reports 12th COVID-19 death The Nash County Health Department is reporting the 12th COVID-19 related death in Nash County. The female patient, in her late 60's, died on July 30 from complications associated with the virus. The patient had underlying health conditions. "We offer our sincerest condolences to the family as we mourn this loss", said Nash County Health Deputy Director Trey Wright. "At Nash County Health Department, we are in the business of helping our community. One thing you can do to help others is by practicing the 3 "W"s," added Wright. Practicing the 3 "W"s is a very good way to reduce the spread of COVID-19. If you must leave home: - Wear a cloth face covering if you will be with other people. "It is also imperative for those testing positive to stay at home until your isolation time has been completed."
