Edith Blalock Bryant, 62, passed away March 6, 2020. She was born in Wilson County to the late Jamie Ray Blalock and Erma Heath Blalock. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmie R. Blalock and Gene A. Blalock and a sister, Alice B. Bray.

She is survived by her mate William C. Viverette; sons Jamie R. Bryant (Melissa Davis), Stacey L. Bryant; step daughters, Wendy S. Viverette (William) and Star Edmondson (Jerry); 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brother, Bennie Blalock; sisters, Lisa Winbourne (Ken) and Linda Parker (Stephen).

Services were held Monday, March 9, 2020 at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Vick officiating. Flowers will be accepted or donations encouraged to be made to Tabernacle of Praise 1279 E. Old Spring Hope Rd. Nashville, NC 27856.
