Rocky Mount - Angela Gayle Daughtridge, 56, passed away Tuesday, August 05, 2008 at Pitt Memorial Hospital. She was born November 20, 1951 in Edgecombe County. She was the daughter of the late George Linwood Evans and Annie Earldean Bennett. She was preceded in death by her Mother and Father; her brother, Ranny Lynn Evans.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving and devoted husband, Michael Daughtridge of the home; one brother, George Earl Evans of Rocky Mount; two sisters, Melinda Evans Davis of Rocky Mount and Sherry Norville of Little River, SC, several nieces and nephews; two great nephews; one great niece; and two K-9 friends, Peaches and Sweetie Pie.

The family received friends and family from 7:00 to 9:00 pm Thursday, August 7, 2008 at Johnson Funerals and Cremations on English Road. A graveside service to celebrate her life was held 2 pm Friday, August 8, 2008 at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with Rev. Mark Pridgen officiating.
